Quality Management is at the heart of our business – which is why our quality system goes beyond our accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001. We make quality our highest priority. Using Six Sigma and best practise methodologies, we can continually improve both our internal and external processes: this gives improved key performance results year on year.
UNPARELLELED LEVELS OF QUALITY
Customer feedback alone marks us as a success, as our customers give us 99 per cent positive feedback on the quality of our productions. However, we make ourselves fully accountable to a range of standards to ensure excellence. Six Sigma is essential to VCL’s success. Launched over five years ago, it has fast become the way we do business. We have one black belt and four green belts in Six Sigma Process Controls. We are ISO BS EN 9001 approved, and utilise “Q-Pulse ISO 9100 Record Management Software.
We are constantly introducing new tools, such as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis), and 8-D to help maintain our world class position.
A THOROUGH APPROACH TO SAFETY
We have a strong commitment to both the health and safety of our employees and our working environment. All safety procedures are controlled and closely monitored by our internal Health & Saftey Committee who meet regularly to discuss all issues relating to the health of our employees. We adhere to the OHSAS 18001 standard, and cleanliness level inspection to NAS Class 6 and better.
We take environmental concerns seriously, and believe we are all accountable for our actions. As a large company it is our role to anticipate change and respond with creative solutions. VCL has therefore sought and obtained Environmental Accreditation to ISO 14001.
